PRODUCE MARKETS.

Messrs F. -fi. Alalcolm and Co., auctioneers, report the following prices realised at their produce sales on Saturday:—Hens Is 5d t<> 2s 3d, roosters 2s 3d to 2s 9d, butter Is to Is 2d, eggs lOd to Is, lemons 6d doz, 25 cases of Island oranges 9s case, onions 2d, potatoes (medium quality) 7s sack, (best quality) 12s sack, £7 to £7 10s ton, honey 4d, swedes Is Gd bag, small vegetables at usual prices; 250 lots of fruit trees were also disposed of at good prices, and a busy day was also experienced at the furniture sale.

Alcssrs Alillcr and Craig report a large attendance at their produce' sales on. Saturday and a keen demand for poultry and produce. The following prices were realised:—Eggs 9d and lOd doz, spring onions 3d bdlo, swedes 2s 3d small bag, beet 2d bdlc, onions 2jd lb, potatoes 11s and 12s 6d sack, carrots 2d ladle, lemons 5d and (id doz, sacks mixed carrots and parsnips (3s Gd, apples 10s to 10s Cd case, oranges 10s (3d case, bananas 7s Gd to Ss Gd, tea Is bulk, Is 3d lb, butter Is 3d lb, pumpkins 5s Gd bag, roosters 2s Gd to 3s sd, turkey gobblers 8s 3d, turkey liens 4s 9d, fowls 3s 3d, ducks 2s 9d to 3s 3d. There was also a satisfactory 6ale of pot plants, furniture, etc. HORSE SALES. Messrs Williams and Kettle, Ltd., yarded about 30 hacks and harness horses at their horse bazaar on Saturday. Hacks brought from £5 to £l2 15s, a horse, cart and harness £lB, and the fishing boat, Jane AK, was sold for £96. LAND SALE.

At tlieir wool store on'Saturday the New Zealand Loan and Alercuntile Agency Co., Ltd., offered on behalf of Air. R. J. Witters, the goodwill of his valuable farm, containing 40 acres 2 roods 11 perches, being sec-? tion 13, block t, Ponparae settlement, held under 1.i.p.; annual rental, £SO 12s, subject to discount of 10 per cent, on punctual payment. There was not a very large .attendance at the sale, and only one bid of £9OO was elicited, at which figure.the property was passed in.
