President Roosevelt, in a letter to Mr. Root, in referenco to tho postponement of the Tokio Exhibition, says Eiat the people of tho United States hold Japan in a peculiar feeling of regard and friendship. No other nation mis more anxious than tho United States to make the Exhibition a success.
