The auxiliary schooner Korerusailed yesterday morning for Whangaroa to load timber for Wellington. The U.S.S. Co.’s Talune arrives from South tlr’s morning and leaves later for Auckland. The Tuatea leaves the wharf with outward passengers at 10 a.in. The U.S.S. Co.’s Monowai arrives from Auckland to-morrow afternoon, and sails (South in the evening. 'Outward passengers leave the wharf at 5 p.m. (meantime). Tho scow Zingara passed East Cape yesterday on her way to this port timber-laden. Messrs Richardson and Co.’s-Tun-ny is due to arrive on Tuesday -morning from Napier. The following were the shipments from this port by the Tvscr Company’s Indradevi: Shipped by Loan and Mercantile Agency Co.: 2 bales sheepskins and 4 bales wool; by Bennett and Sherratt, 14 bales wool; by Bink of New Zealand, 76 bales wool; by Williams and Kettle, 200 casks tallow, 17 bales sheepskins, 201 bales wool, 2383 carcases mutt-on, 227 S carcases lamb, 3397 quarters beef, 25 cave isos'veal, 53 sides veal, and 3296 pieces mutton. This clears Nelson Bros.’ works, and they have been closed clown for a short- period. The New Zealand Shipping Company have issued a very attractive handbook of information for passengers, the distribution of which in England should form a good advertisement for New Zealand, as a number of interesting views of this country are given.
