The recent improvements in milking machines introduced by Mr. Gillies, of' Lawrence-Iveimcdy fame, are of great imjHirtance to the small dairy farmer. The great reduction effected in the power brings the “L.Iv.G.” machine within the roach of the man with 20 cows, or even less. Many farmers already possess a small one or two horse-power steam boiler for operating their separator, and this power is ample to work one or oven two “L.K.G.” pulsators. The cost of installing a small plant is very triPh’g. and is well worth the consideretinn of every dairy farmer.—J .B. MncEwan and Co.. Ltd., sole agents, Fort Street, Auckland.
