SYDNEY, August '2O. The lust day of tho fleet festivities was allotted to tho children s demonstration. The cricket ground proved far too small to accommodate tho immense crowd of spectators, including many Americans. Bight thousand scholars from the public schools, dressed in red, white, and blue, went through various exercises. There were tableaus representing the words Hail Columbia, and immense American and Australian flags. During tho 'ceremony 5000 white pigeons were liberated. A riile match between the American' fleet and It die Association teams of 20 men each, -at two, five, and six Hundred yards ranges, was won by the Americans with a score of_lßS-l, tno Australian score being 1755.

The fleet leaves at nine to morrow morning. The .Powerful and the Challenger sailed for Melbourne to-day to be ready to welcome the fleet there.
