Butter: Dull. Danish 119 sto 1215.' Weddel’s annual review refers to tho remarkable improvement- in Queensland butter, which is attributed largely to the strictness of grading, and it- advocates compulsory grading and stamping the number of the grade on the boxes. It considers the probable average values of the butter and cheese in tho coming season will be somewhat lower than last.
CLEARING SALE
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., held a most successful sale of Mr. W. C. Judd’s dairy herd at Mntawlicro on Tuesday. Dairy cows sold at from £-1 to £ll 10s, heifers £2 to £5 1.55, pigs from 15s to 255. One bull brought £4, and a pair of draught geldblgs £54.
