Tho New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, report on stock sale held on Thursday, 13th inst. : The sale was a small winter sale, and tlie attendance only moderate. JPhe demand was also very slack, and quotations may be regarded as merely nominal. Sheep.—We yarded 652 and sold 293. Ewes in lamb in low condition made 5s 6d, better lines of aged ewes in lamb 9s to 9s 6d, fat ewes 13s, 2-tooth wethers 13s 3(1. Cattle.—Beef steers made £6 10s to £7 10s, according to weight, dairy cows 70s, dairy heifers, springing, £5 12s Cd, yearlings 335. Pigs.—There seemed a fair demand. Porkers made 235, and weiiners 11s. Our next Matawliero sale will he held on the 27th inst., hut we call special attention to clearing sale to he held on behalf of Mr. G. E. Hindrup at his farm, Patutahu on Thursday, 20tli inst
