HORSE SALES
Alessrs Williamsi and Kettle, Ltd., had only a small yarding of horses fall hacks) at their weekly sale at Wyllie’s Bazaar on Saturday. Hacks of fair quality sold from £lO to £l2 10s, and poorer sorts from £3 10s to £9. Alctsts Dnlgety and Co., Ltd., also field a sale of horses and harness at the Masonic Stables. Draughts sold at from £l7 10 for light sorts to £4O for heavier sorts. Hacks brought from £3 to £lO. pair of bug-o-y horses sold at £7l. PRODUCE AIARKETS.
Messrs F. S. Malcolm and Co. tioneers, report that owing to tile inclement weather there was a small supply of poultry at their sale on Saturday, those lots .sent in selling at the usual prices. Eggs sold from Is 4d to Is 6d per dozen, butter Is lb, pumpkins 3s 6d to 6s per doz.. potatoes 7s 6<l per cwt, 11s to 13s bd per «adk, hams Bid, onions 2d per lb.
