As anticipated, the storm that raged oil Thursday and Friday censed before Saturday morning, and at sunrise the sea was quite calm, though there was still a -heavy swell. The s.s. Flora came into the anchorage and was tendered by the Tauten shortly after 10 o’clock. Tlie Flora experienced a rough time while beating about the Bay for two days, but suffered no damage. The vessel left for Auckland about noon. Tho s.s. AViinmiera arrived from Napier without inconvenience, and after talcing a largo number of passengers on board, left about 1.30 p.m. for Auckland. The AViminora also brought back t-lie overcii rr.icd mails and pur sen gers from tho s.s. Mokoia, wliieli connected at N a pier.
