AN ENGLISH APPRECIATION. United Press Association, CorY’RiGHT (Received August 6, 1,15 p.m.) PERTH, August 5. In an article on English Lawn Tennis in tho “Saturday Review,” Mr. P. A. Vaile says that really the only championship held in England is tho ladies’ doubles. It is open to doubt, good as the ladies are, if they could retain it against Miss -Pay-ten (New South Wales).-and Miss Nunnelly (New Zealand).
