Captain Harry Andrews, who has boon in Gisborne for the past few days, leaves for -Auckland 'by the Alcana this morning. .'Had the weather been favorable Captain Andrews would have p aid a visit to the oilfields in the district. -Alies Buzzy Goffe. well known in athletic circles in Gisborne, has been offered an -appointment as swimming instructress to one of the leadi ig ladies’ colleges in Australia. Besides being it-lie champion swimmer in AY.angmui for three' seasons, this popular voiin-g lady bolds medals and trophies for life-saving, diving, and also tlie 200yds championship, which she did in record time. Alins Goffo has not yet come to a decision in the matter.
