Within the short space of 12 months since tho first trial shipment was made tliero is ■ now practically an unlimited demand in England for South Australian honey. The reported old English prejudice- against the eucalyptus flavor evidently was a mistaken idea, as nothing is heard of it now. Siuee the first shipment was made last year slightly over 2000 tins, or 50 tons, of honey have been sent to London. The product realises 2jd per lb. f.o.b. Port Adelaide, and it has to bo passed by inspectors appointed by the South "Australian Beekeepers’ Association. The Minister for Agriculture has received a cablegram from the Commercial Agent, asking when the next shipment might be expected, and from tliis it is presumed that consumers in England can take all that Soqth Australia will be able to send. The price mentioned is a long way below what can be obtained by Dominion bee-keepers for local consumption,
