The Mayor (Mr W. D. Lysnar) and Airs, v Lysnar have received invitaturns from the Mayor of Auckland (Air. Arthur Myers) to attend the civic reception to Rear-Admiral Sperry and officers of tlie American fleet on Monday, August- 10th, at 10.30 am,, -wul an “At Homo” given by tlie Mayor and Mayoress of Auckland on August llth, at 3 p.m. His Excellency the Governor and Lady 1 Junket have also sent an invitation to tlie Mayor and Mayoress to attend a ball the same evening.
