The Poverty .Bay Co-operativo Supply Association will be closed to-mor-row for stock-taking. Tenders are invited by Mr. Albert Williams, architect, for, the fraction of a. residence, A reward is offered for tho return to this office of a lady's containing money. Dr. Collins offers a reward for the return of .a blue grey pony. Mr. D. J. Barry has an announcement in this issue regarding his annual balance.
.Special attention is again directed to tho advertisements hv the Union Steamship Co. and Clio lluddart-Par-ker Co. requesting intending passengers for Auckland during Fleet Week to book on or before Saturday next. Tho shipping companies are anxious to obtain a satisfactory .indication as to whether the regular tiino-table steamers will be sufficient for the traffic.in order, if necessary, to make further provision should such be warranted. Tho request is made with a view to obviating disappointment to intending passengers at the last moment when the providing of additional facilities may not bo possible. The Waikare leaves Gisborne .next Wednesday week and the Wimmora on the following Saturday, tho day beforo tho arrival of the fleet at Auckland. The .Monowai leaves here on Wednesday, 12th August, and arrives at Auckland while tlio American vessels are in the harbor there.
