The scow Rangi arrived from Mangateto ear.’.y yesterday morning, having experienced fair Winds down the Coast, Heavy rain was met with and some fairly thick weather. She brings Bi,OOOFt of timber for Messrs Peacocke and Co. . The ketch Coronation arrived from Whitianga early yesterday morning, and came alongside in the afternoon. She left her loading port on Friday last, and Captain Page reports a tavorablo and uuoventful passage. Her cargo consists of 81,000 ft of timber for jlcssrs Evans, N-iekl and Co. An attempt was inado to refloat the barquentine Pelotas early yesterday morning, but it was unsuccessful. It was then decided to unload some of her coal by moans of a platform and trolleys, and this lightened -her suffi.ci'iiefcly t<> enable her to get off the mud and come alongside the wharf yesterday afternoon. The U.S.S. Co.’s Haupiri is still working tho Coast ports, and was experiencing a heavy sea at \\ aipiro •yesterday. . ■ - , . Tho Huddart-Parker Co. s A ictoria arrives from South this morning and leaves again for Auckland. Tho Tuatea leaves tho wharf at 6 a.m. and 10 a.m. Tho U.S.S. Co.’s Talune returns from Auckland to-morrow afternoon and continues her trip iSouth in the evening. Outward passengers leave the wharf at 5 p.m. meantime. The Tyfier liner Nerehana is due here to load frozen meat about tho ond of the present month. A Press Association message from Auckland states that the scow Haere, which arrived at Hokiauga from Wellington recently, and which was loading timber for Auckland, was blown ashore at Omapere, on the south side of the harbor, in a north-west gale last night. The vessel .is on a sandy beach in. a safe position and is apparently-undamaged.

The Kakapo left a week ago for Launceston with a hulk -in tow, ancl has not -yet reached her destination. She is supposed to be sheltering.
