One man, was arrested, and tlie other two decamped. The next evening the two bandits re-entored the town, intending ho rescue their comrade. The crowd tried to .capture the bandits, who shot indiscriminately, killing one man and wounding several, '.including three -police and a woman with a baby m arms. . . '. The bandits hid in a cemetery, which was surrounded by 500 police, who were instructed to shoot at sight. Tho bandits fought desperately. Ono was killed and the other was dangerously ' wounded and was captured.
