Daniels won'the final m 65 3-ssee., establishing a record, and beating Z. M. Halmay by a yard. Beaurepaire won liis heat in the .1500 metres race. Battersby beat Springfield. Bacon (American) beat D. Murray (Dublin) ill hip heat in the 400 metres hurdles in 57secs., an 01ym[)ic record. Many rowing men, including Barry, welcomed Towns, who commences training to-day.
