PRODUCE MARKETS. Messrs F. S. Malcolm and Co., auctioneers, report the_following prices realised at their produce sales oil Saturday:—Roosters Is lid to 2s 9<l, hens Is Id to 2s 9d, ducks 2s, butter 1®) eggs Is lOd and Is lid, potatoes’ 10s to 13s per sack, £6 to £7 10s per ton, onions ljd ’to lid per lb, with a short supply, pumpkins 3s 6d to 4s 6d, seed potatoes (Up-to-date and Early Hose) 9s per cwt, marrows 2s per doz, small vegetables as usual. Chaff: £7 ■ 15s per ton. Oats: 3s per bushel.
A. successsful sale of fruit trees was held on behalf of Messrs Gibbons and Co., ail the lots, being disposed of. Messrs Miller arid Craig, auctioneers, report the following prices re-alised-on Saturday:—Hens Is 9d to 2s 3d, roosters 2s to 2s 3d, turkeys (hens) 3s 6cl, butter lOd to Is per lb, eggs Is lOd doz, onions !L(d lb. cab-* bage 3s Id doz, potatoes 3s 6d bag, 9s ,6d sack, Swedes 2s 3d bag, onion plants 6d bundle, ku merits Id lb, pumpkins 3s 6cT sack, cauliflowers 3s d o z, carrots 2s doz, turnips Is 9d doz, lettuce 9d doz, tea. lOd to Is lb bulk, assorted tinned fruits 10s doz, seeded raisins 6s doz, carton dates 4s 6d doz, apples 10s case. HORSE SALES. Messrs AVilliams and Kettle, Ltd., held their usual,weekly horse sale atAA r yllie’s horse bazaar on Saturday. The. yarding consisted of 35 hacks of various classes. Bidding was slow, and many of the lots offered were passed in. Serviceable hacks brought from £6 to £lO, poorer sorts from £2 to £5 10s. The racehorse Banker was offered, but was withdrawn at £ls.
