SACRED CONCERT.

GISBORNE PRIVATE BAND. The Gisbrone Private Band, under ■lie eonduetorship of Mr. D. McKilk>lV gave a sacred concert in His Majesty’s Theatre last evening, when riiere was a fair attendance. The Rand played Doring’s march, “Distant Greeting,” Jones’ sacred march, “St. Augustine,” and an animated selection by J. A. Greenwood, entitled “Tlie Golden Sceptre.” This piece was well played, the 'cornet and euphonium solos by Messrs F. Allard •and E. Somervell respectively being worthy of special mention. Mrs. Ricerisang tho ballad, “Always Take Mother’s'-^Advice,” Mr. H. Citron “The Flightrof Ages,” and Messrs J. Bowman and TV, Norman the duet, “Ora Pro Nobis.”'-.Miss R. Rice Tecited “Barbara Freitchio” in good style. Miss Mcllhone . acted as an able accompanist, and the concert concluded witli the Doxology.
