United Press Association, Copyright .(Received July 16, 12.43 a.m.) ■OTTAWA, July 15, Several Conservatives in the Dominion House of Commons urged that preference to Britain was useless, and asked if it could bo withdrawn •as retaliation for Britain’s embargo on Canadian cattle. Hon. Air. Fielding replied': “We could, hut I think it would be unwise.”
