Copyright (Received July 5, 4.20 p.m.) LONDON, July 4; The Anglo-Congolese Frontier Commission lias completed its survey, showing tho mistake on the,, maps whereon the Anglo-Congolese Convention'of 1894 was based, and which placed the thirtieth , meredian as forming the frontier,' 20 miles west of the true- position. - Hence a strip of 120 miles long supposed to- be British territory is now provisionally regarded as neutral. 'Britain upholds the Convention should the strip . be added t<> Congo territory. The same report mentions that there is considerable activity in the Kilo goldfields inside the Congo border, which was largely worked by Australians. The first two lots of gold obtained were valued at £70.000.
