WESTPORT MURDER CASE.
A CROWN WITNESS ARRESTED, CHARGED WITH MURDER. [Press Association.] NELSON, July 2. Mr. \Y. G. Macdonald, solicitor for Holincu and Anderson, who stood their trial for the murder or Bourke if Westport, and were each sentenced last night, to seven years for manslaughter, is advertising a public meeting for Saturday evening, when lie will review the evidence. ’ The Vice-Consul for Norway (Mr. Whyte) will also deliver an address.
Tho principal Crown witness in the ■ase, Connelly, was to-day arrested m a warrant issued upon the inforliation of .Ur. Macdonald, and charg'd with the.murder. Ho was reminded to Westport.
