To-day’s developments in the bakers' strike show employers to be in a stronger position. :AH the large firms except one are working fairly steadily, and it is estimated by tlio president- of the Master linkers’ Association that only about 10 men are required to make the business go along comfortably. The strikers mustered with a haulier in front of the General Post -Office at noon, with Tom Mann as master of ceremonies. He urged tho waterside workers not to handle flour consigned to members of the Bakers’ Association.
