A DARKENING HORIZON. CANCELLATION OF UNIONS. [Special to “Times.”] WELLINGTON.. July 2. In to-night’s “Gazette,” Mr. Trogear, in his capacity of Registrar of Industrial Unions, gives notice that in pursuance of applications made it is his intention to cancel the registration of the Blackball Minors’ Industrial Union of Workers, registered number 207. situated at Blackball, and tlio Deniiiston Coal Minors’ Industrial Union of Workers, registered number 56, registered at Deiiniston, after the expiration of six weeks from the date of the publication of this notice in the “Gazette,” unless in the meantime cause is shown to the contrary.

It is stated oil reliable authority that several other workmen’s unions on the AVest Coast intend to apply for cancellation of registry and that generally the outlook as between masters and employees on the Coast is lint of too bright a nature.
