Harding, of Greenmeadows, who arrived in Wellington in 1848, and resided subsequently at AVanganui and Napier, celebrated their diamond wedding today. The descendants numbering three sons, three daughters, and seventeen grandchildren were all present save one grandchild. At the Supreme Court to-day Mr. Justice Williams was asked to make absolute, an order of prohibition in respect to the conviction of Henry Clegg, bii. a charge of wilful trespass on Wiiigatui racecourse on February 19th. Argument showed that CTey was considered to he an “undesirable,” and it was contended he became a- wilful trespasser in refusing to leave the course, when ordered. His Honor held- that as Clegg’s original entry was lawtoj, he -became only a trespasser on being warned, and further warning was necessary to'make him.-, a wilful trespasser. ' The rule was'made absolute,Jwith costs against the Club. • /;
