WEDDING.

RUBY—BRIGHT.

At Holy Trinity Church yesterday the vicar, the Rev. L. Dawson Thornes officiating, Air. Charles C. Ruby, son of Air. George Ruby, of Y-arram Varram, South Gippsland, A r ictoria, was married to Aliss Mary Ethel Bright, eldest daughter of Mr. J. AY. Bright, manager of the New Zealand Loan and Alereantile Agency Company, Gisborne. The church wa6 beautifully decorated. The service) was fully choral, the choir, of which both bride and bridegroom have been members sang the hymn “The Voice that breathed o’er Eden” as the bride entered the church on the arm of her father.

The bride was attended by three bridesmaids, Miss Daisy Bright (sister of the bride). Miss N. Calder (cousin of the bride), and Miss Winifred Adair. The bridal dress was of white Oriental satin, trimmed with handsome silk embroidered lace. The bride wore a wreath of orange blossoms and a hand-embroidered white tulle veil, and carried a shower bouquet of choice white flowers and maid-, en hair fern. The bridesmaids were' ill dressed alike, in cream cashmere, with vasts of lace and smart .coatees, trimmed with tasselled silk cord, and with hats of whit© glace silk, , trimmed with paradise plumes and tulle. They carried bouquets of scarlet and ■white flowers. Mr. S. Gover acted as best man, and Mr. B. J. Bright and Mr. B. Parker as groomsmen. The bride’s mother wore rich black mervcilleux, trimmed with silk lace and applique, a hat of purple velvet trimmod with Oriental eilk and grey pinmes. and carried a shower bouquet, f® % bridal party left- the. church tho Wedding March” was played V the organist, Mr. Sidebottom. After the ceremony a reception was held at tho residence of the bride’s parents, Jvaiti, to which ab.out 100 guests were invited. The presents were numerous and costly, many being received from friends in ail parts of tlie Dominion. The happy couple loft by thesis. Wnnmera in the evening for Invercargill, whero the honeymoon will be spent. The bride’s travelling eostume was of green cloth, a green hat trimmed with pale blue silk and green feathers, with white furs t 0 complete the costume.
