A FATAL ACCIDENT.

YOUNG MAN KILLED. [Press Association.] ROTORUA, Juno 29. Henry Oldfield, aged 21, an employee of tho Rotorua Meat Company, while driving bullocks ibis morning met with a fatal accident. The accident took place at uwnata Road, near the To Ngae paddocks of the company. The bullocks and the horse Oldfield was riding fell into a wash-out caused by the rain. Oldfield was removed to the accident ward of the Sanatorium. He was much bruised and had internal injuries. It was found necessary to- perform an operation .but he- died a few hours after. The horse Oldfield was riding also died later in the day.
