ASSEMBLY ADOPTS RESOLUTION

PRETORIA, June 24. After Mr. Smuts’ declaration that South Africa was ripe for union, and that it was unwise to lose sucli a glorious opportunity, the Transvaal Assembly unanimously adopted the union resolutions.
