TWO MEN SHOT BY NEGROES. CROWD KILLS THE MURDERERS United Press Association. Copyright NEW YORK, June 23. Negroes at Hemphill, in Texas, shot two whites. Subsequently six negroes were arrested in connection with the affair.

A crowd gathered outside the gaol, the door of which they forced open. The negroes were dragged out. Five were hanged on one tree. The sixth negro was shot whilo endeavoring to escape. Afterwards the crowd shot three more negroes.
