Archbishop Clarke presided at the Albort Hall, whore there was a discussion on tho question of marriages in heathendom. • The spoakors included tho Bishop of Now Guinea. A mass meeting in tho evening, tho Archbishop of Canterbury presiding, dealt with tbo question of tho church and human society, facts of to-day and possibilities of to-morrow. Various sections of tho Congress discussed tho questions of marriage and divorce, socialism, and Anglicanism and its place in Christendom. Tho Archbishop of Brisbane presided at the discussions upon -work among tho settlors. Tho Bishops of Perth and Auckland spoke.
