ENTERTAINMENTS.
The wild and unruly buckjumpers belonging to Mr Jones’ combination have caused an unusual amount of interest among those interested inhorses, and there is certain to be a large attendance at the farewell performance of the company to-morrow evening. “Bobs” is a veritable do moil, and is su'd to bo absolutely llnridoable. He is like no known species of buckjumper ever seen before. The horse that will career -around, and turn the one wav gives -a rider a chance of retaining his seat; but “Bobs” remains in one place, and “swerves” both ways, and the trouble is you never know which- way lie is going next. It is reported that one or two crack riders- intend making a bi<l_ to-morrow night for the prize of £5, which Mr Jones offers to the rider who can retain his seat in a hunting saddle for one minute oil "Bobs.” Mr A. Hons/’ey, a local rider, will also essay the feat of riding any of the buckjmmpers on Saturday night in a stock saddle. The fun should be fast and furious, as six of the worst “outlaws” in the district are being brought in to test the ability of Mr Jones’ men. A special attraction for to-morrow night will be the riding of “Bobs” .by one of the company’s men. What with sensational horsemanship, bullock riding, and “Bucking Barney,” the donkey, the entertainment* to-morrow evening should bo highly diverting, and tho farewell performance of this clever combination should attract a record koueo.
