STATED TO BE MISLEADING. NAPIER CHAMBER OF COSL MERGE. (Press Association.) •NAPIER, June 10. At a meeting of Hie Napier Chamber of Commerce to-dav it was stated that the export of wool from Napier last season exceeded that of the previous season by about- 7000 bales. It was stated that the Customs returns of exports for the March quarter were misleading in respect of the" v-alue of wool, in that- wood wa-s valued at lOd per lb., whereas the actual average of tho price realised was 9Jd.It was decided to assist the Wellington Chamber,.in asking that -the Customs Department should submit shippers’ values torthe various Chambers of Commerce before publishing the figures.'
