Mr. S. Jickell, who has been in Gisborne lor a week to report upon a drainage scheme, left by the Aloana for Palmerston North last evening. F.. passed through Gisborne yesterday en route to Dunedin from Sydney, where ho lias been attending the t.ri-ennial conference of the Order. He was met on his arrival by Mr. E. D. Smith, De-puty-Grand Master of . the Star of Gisborne Imdge, and Mr. B. Robb, and welcomed to the town. Mr. Reid stated that.the 1.0.0. F. is rapidly increasing in membership and funds throughout Ab.-trahisia, and is now one of the largest Lodges in the colonies.
