BOWLING.

GISBORNE GREEN. A large number of members attended at the above green on Saturday afternoon. The weather was almost ideal from a bowler’s point of view, and the green was playing in firstclass order. In the semi-final round of the Colts Handicap, T. Clarkson beat R. AV. Kymc by 28 to 9.. The following games were also played: Fortlyco, F. AV. AVilson, Pousford and Witty (skip) beat Boulton, Johnstone, Simson and Bright (skip) 17; Jickell, O’Meara, and T. Clarkson (skip) heat Ross, Kyme, and Corbio (skip) 9. TURANGANUI CLUB. There was a fair muster of memhens at the Turanganui green, and a number of enjoyable practice games were indulged in.
