ENTERTAINMENTS.
PANTOMIME “CINDERELLA.” Gisborne theatre-goers will on Monday next have their first opportunity of pronouncing their verdict on the pantomime “Cinderella.” The clever and popular comedian, John F. Sheridan, heads the bill, and supporting him lire Messrs Tom Curran, Morris and Wilson (acrobats), Fred Norris (the well-known comedy skater), and J. Steele, while Miss Heba •.Barlow is said to make a winning “Cinderella.” Miss Stella iSelbourne as the Prince Charming is credited with having made a decided success in the part. Other lady members of of the company include Miss Marie Eaton and Miss Hilda Lane. An outstanding feature is “Toyland,” especially introduced into the production for children; it is said to be a superb study in scenic art and costuming. The Porcelain March, the Sapho ..Ballet, and the tuneful songs are other attractions. A matinee will be given on Tuesday, at 2 p.m. The box plan opens at Miller’s today, where stalls and pit tickets can also be purchased.
