At tho wool sales there is animated competition for all sorts at prices the highest of the series. Americans are operating on best New Zealand crossbreds.

The New Zealand Loan and -Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report on stock sale held on Thursday, 21st inst.:—The attendance was fairly up to the average, but the yardings appeared to be in excess of requirements, consequently a dull sale was experienced. .Sheep :Wo yarded 4126, and sold 2101.
