NAPIER, May 207 The Napier Temperance Council has unanimously passed the following resolution : “In view of the statements which have recently been made, this Council wishes it to be understood that unless compelled to do so to ensure a contest, the temperance party will not be identified with any Parliamentary candidate at the forthcoming elections.”
