HARBOR ELECTION. ELECTORS OF COOK AND WAIAPU COUNTIES. Ladies and gentlemen,—. I have much pleasure in ouering my services Tor the vacant seat on tho Gisborne Harbor Board. I have a strong belief ill the future of tho East Coast and its immense possibilities. I have noted with satisfaction the expansion of our trade anti tho increase of our products, and few things would give mo greater pleasure than seeing that rapid expansion continued even at a greater rate than hitherto. To aid this development, our shipping facilities must bo improved and more frequent communication with outside parts must be sought. As a momber of the Board for many years, my views on harbor matters generally no doubt are well known to you. Suflico it to say now that if elected I shall see that Mr. Marchant’s outer harbor scheme with all available information relating thereto is placed before the ratepayers at as early a date as possible.
