A PROPOSED MEMORIAL. United Press Association—Copyright (Received May 17, 4.00 p.m.) LONDON, May 16. A meeting at the Mansion'House resolved, on Lord Crewe’s motion, seconded by Lord Roberts, -to support a presentation on behalf of the people of Great Britain of a memorial to Generals Wolfe and Montcalm, as a birthday gift to Canada.
