HOTEL NIGHT PORTERS. Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, May 13. In an appeal case heard in Banco to-day, Mr. Justice Denniston held that ail hotelkeeper was hound to givo a night porter a half-holiday once a week from 2 p.m. to midnight. The effect of the decision is that on one day in the week an hotel night porter will report for duty at midnight instead of at 10 p.m., the usual hour.
