The U.S.S. Co.’s Mokoia arrived from Southern ports early on Saturday morning, ami sailed later for Auckland and Sydney. Tho Shaw, Savill Co.’s lonic completed loading late on Friday night, and sailed Tor Lyttelton early on Saturday morning. She took close on 10,000 carcases of frozen meat, 110 casks of tallow, 50 bales of wool, and a large quantity of sundrios from this port. - . The Westport Coal Co. s Re&uius completed discharging her coal and - left for Westport early yesterday morning. The scow Rambler arrived from Whangarei late on Saturday night. She loft her loading port on Thursday aftornoon, and experienced favorable winds all down the coast. Her cargo consists of 56,000 feet of totara ' 'anti lcauri timber for the Alpha saw- ' mills. Tho U.S.S. Co.’s Wan aka left Timaru at 1 a.m. yesterday morning, and is expected to reach here tomorrow morning. She takes a consignment of sheep from this port to Auckland. Tho U.S.S. Co.’s Squall has been delayed in Auckland longer than was originally expected, getting her new propellor fitted. She is expected to leave Auckland for Coast ports and Gisborne. The U.S.S. Co.’s Haupiri is expected to arrivo to-morrow or Wed - nesday from Auckland and Coast ports. She has been delayed at Tuparoa through an accident to the machinery of her oil launch, which rendered it absolutely useless for tlio time being. The U.S.S. Co.’s Monowai arrived from Auckland last night about 7 p.m.; and was tendered on arrival. She has about 150 tons of cargo for this port, and brought a good number of passengers. Tho schooner Awamii arrived from Whitianga yesterday about midday, after a quick passage. She loft or> Friday with a favorable and strong south-westerly blowing, which carried her right down to the Cape. From this point down light westerly winds were experienced until her arrival here, when she sailed in. unassisted, taking advantage of the southerly which sprang up. She brings a cargo of timber for Messrs Evans, Nield and Co., part of which is consigned to Tologa Bay, and which she will discharge on her return trip. Messrs Richardson and Co.’s Fanny arrives from Napier this morning with general cargo. The Tyser liner Niwaru is expected to load hero on Wednesday for London . The; auxiliary schooner Kaeo arrived in Auckland from Gisborne and Coast ports on Friday night. Captain Skinner reports as follows: “Arrived last night. Sailed from Gisborne ou Tuesday, the 28th; arrived at Tuparoa the following morning and landed and shipped cargo. Proceeded on to Port Awamii, and landed and shipped cargo, leaving about 3 p.m. lor round East Cape. Arrived at Te * Araroa on Thursday morning, and finished there and Hick’s Bay the same day, leaving at 5 p.m. for the Bay of Plenty. By Monday night, tlio 4th, we had landed all cargo, and wo shipped cargo at eleven places in the Bay of Plenty. Left the same night with lull cargo of maize, etc., for Auckland, and on Tuesday experienced a heavy N.W. gale, backing to N.N.E., with the glass falling rapidly from 29.90 to 29 by midnight on Tuesday, when it shifted in a- squall to tlie west, which continued till our arrival on Friday night. The cargo consisted of 600 sacks maize, 300 sacks manure, 200 sacks barley, and skins, wool,, fungus, hides, tallow, pigs, and fowls.”
