Hutt Handicap: Clancliattan 7.10, 1; Kuravaka 7.2, 2; Afoscow 7.3 3Also started AVaipaku, Ton Tulii, Aferrie England, and Prism. After going two or three furlongs, Clancliattan and Kurawaka took up the running and a good race resulted in a head victory lor Clancliattan. Time Imin 44sec.
Muritai Hack Handicap: AVailothe 9.1, 1; Taitoko 8.7, 2; King Post 8.7, 3. Also started, AVharekura ami Coralio.. AViailethc came in the straight and won comfortably by ji length and a half. Carrissima led into the straight followed by Marguerite, hut here Tangimoana, who had been lying fourth, ■ shot through and won by a length, a length and a half separating the second and third horses. New Zealand St. Ledger: Signor L; Ail Red, 2; Gleiiculloch, 3. Also started: Gold Crest and the Libyan. Signor took charge after traversing ho!,' flic distance, and then Gold Crest, the favorite, got up near to the leader before the straight was entered.
