Herr Theuningscn, a former Governor of German New Guinea, referring to the existence of gold there, suggests that diggers of any nationality should be. allowed to mine. The “Cologne Gazette” suggests a discussion between the British _ and the Germans as to mining rights along the frontier, and outlines proposals for the rectification of tho frontier, ma'king the 'Hirst River tho natural boundary.
