TURANGANUI GREEN. Tho third round of tho Handicap Singles wero commenced yesterday afternoon. The green was somewhat heavy, and did not allow of tho best exhibition of play. ,R. Sheet beat B. Hird by 4 points. This game was remarkable for tho smallness of the scoring, only four 2’s being scored throughout. The heads were closely contested, and Sheet drew excellently: Hird also played well, but the handicap of three proved too much.
