HOCKEY.

THE CITY CLUB

The annual meeting of tho City Hockey Club was held last evening in the Royal Hotel. There was a good attendance of members, and Mr. 0. M. Sargisson presided. Tho secretary (Mr. TV. Lewis) presented the annual report and balance-sheet, which were unanimously adopted. The » finances of tho club are in a satisfactory condition, there being a substantial credit balance on the year’s working. The election of office-bear-ers for the coming season resulted as follows: President,Rev. Father pane; vice-presidents, Messrs F. Harris, R. S. Chilton, Hr .Collins, J. H. Martin, and F. TV. Riach; captain, Mr. Armstrong; secretary and treasurer, Mr. TV. Lewis; management committee, captain, vice-captain, secretary, and Messrs Sargisson and H. Davy; selection committee, captain, vice-captain, and Mr. J. J. Martin; delegate to Hockey Association, Messrs Sargisson and Lewis. A number of new members were elected, and tho club promises to have a most successful year.
