WEDDING.

At' St. Mary’s Roman' Catholic Church yesterday, the liev. Father Lane officiating, Miss Elizabeth Brosnalian, youngest daughter of Mr. T. Brosnahan, was married to Mr. Gfco-, rge B. Bartlett, of Wanganui. The bride ivas'attired in an handsome dress of shimmering ivory cliiffon taf-: feta, with yoke and’panel- of tucked chrimmon, and bertha, and sleeves of point lace, which also edged the skirt the dress being finished with silver cord and tassels. She also wore the customary wreath and veil and orange blossoms, and carried a. beautiful shower bouquet. Miss' Edith Hay, of Gisborne, and Miss A. Holton, of Auckland were the bridesmaids. Misses Mollie and Doreen Brosnahan (nieces of the bride) acted -as little bridesmaids. Mr. D. E. Dustin officiated as best man, and Mr. W. Ollivcr as groomsman. As the liapnv couple left the Church the Wedding March was played by Miss Mcllhone. After tlie ceremony, the bridal party drove to the residence of Mr. Tlios. Brosnahan, where the wedding breakfast was partaken of. The bridegroom’s nreseut to the bride was a handsome silver-mounted dressing-case and to the bridesmaids’ gold brooches set- with rubies and .pearls. The young couple were the recipients of numerous and costly presents. Mr. and Mrs. .Bartlett leave by the A ictoria to-day for their future home ill Wellington’ via the Wanganui river.
