TUSSICURA. One of tlio most annoying coughs is a throat cough, when you have that constant tickling in your throat. It comes on worse at night, keeps you awako, and makes you have that smothered feeling in the chest. TUSSICURA stops the tickle, which makes breathing easy, and heals the lungs.

IN 18-17 tho 84th Regiment marched ' from Madras to Secunderabad, between 400 and 500 miles. They wore 47 days on tho road, and during tho march were all teetotallers. Previously to leaving Madras, subscriptions were made among the men, and a coffee canteen established. Every morning hot coffee was served out, and coffee took tho place, of the usual allowance of grog. The road i 6 proverbial for cholera and dysentery, and passes through several unhealthy and marshy districts. The men wore free from sickness on this march tb an extent unprecedented in tho history of Indian marches. There was no caso of cholera or fever, and only two men were lost by dysentery, thoso being two old chronic cases out of the Madras hospital, and the officers were astonished at tho cherfulncss and fitness of the men. . At tho same time the 63rd Regiment did the same march in tho opposite direction. The men had all their daily allowance of grog, and the usual canteen tor was used in tho genoral way. This G3rd Regiment lost on the march several men, and when it met the 84th on tho march was obliged to borrow all tho sparo “dboolies” (palanquins for tlio sick) belonging to tho abstinent regiment. Hie death rate during the same year of tho abstinent regiment was 12.1 per thousand in one district and 3-1.2 per thousand in a very unhealthy district, as against a genornl death rato_in the same districts of 30.2 and 75.0 per thousand.
