MANCHESTER ELECTION

THE IRISH VOTEa PRIESTHOOD ADVISES ELECTORS. United Press Association—Copyright. (Received 10.11 p.m., April 20.) LONDON, April 20. It is estimated that five hundred out of nine hundred Irish electors in Manchester will support the manifesto of the local priesthood, urging them not to allow Mr. Churchill to betray them a second time oil the education question, but to vote solid for Mr. Hicks. The local leaders of the Irish League of Great Britain, in a stirring rally, ask the Irish to vote for Mr. Churchill. This direct flouting of Mr Redmond is interpreted as a sign of an inward struggle for supremacy in the counsels of the Nationalist party.
