In the animated, picture world the name of West stands supreme, a position achieved through untiring energy, perpetual study, and the investment of large capital. With tlio marvellous advance of cinematography, Mr. West has ever kept apace, and to-day his .success in the field of enterprise places him easily at the head of all cinematograph entrepreneurs. “West’s Pictures” are synonymous with the latest and most up-to-date development of animated photography. They are without flaw, fault, or flicker, and are a marvel of steadiness and optical clearness. Truly it maybe said that West’s Pictures put a girdle round the earth. They confront you with the region of polar solitudes and tlio midnight sun, the torrid latitudes of the tropics, and the almost impregnable forests of Africa, tlio jungles of India, the mighty rivers of the world, the aweinspiring grandeur of snow-capped mountains, and deep, rocky defiles, canyons, peaceful valleys, and smiling plains; the ancient cities of the old world, .“the grandeur that was Greece,” “the glory that was Rome,” and the crowded Bnbydons of the new, a lifetime of travel compressed into two and a half delightful hours, and the pioneer of cheap cinematographic travel. -Mr. T. J. West has made it possible for the man with a very slender purse to enjoy all these sights with the most wealthy person amongst us. In conjunction with all this, he places before his audience a company of vocal and instrumental artists ’as yet unequalled, for the Brescians arc undoubtedly without equal.
