COCOS ISLANDS TO BATAVIA. United Press Association—Copyright (Received April 15, 11.43 a.in.) SYDNEY, April 15. Tho now Cocos-Batavia cablo was completed at 6.55 pan. on April 12. [The Cocos, or Keeling, Islands are some 500 miles S.W. of Java, on the N.AV. coast of which stands Batavia. A cablo is also laid from Batavia to Singapore, a distance of 600 miles.]
